2014 First Day – Information

I.  Schedule

1st Period       7:20 – 8:20

2nd Period      8:25 – 8:45

3rd Period       8:50 – 9:10

4th Period       9:15 – 9:35

5th Period       9:40 – 10:00

6th Period       10:05 – 10:30

Counselor Schedule Change Form” only to the students that have these issues with their schedule:

    • Hole in their schedule / Incomplete schedule
    • A class that they have already taken and passed
    • Conflict with a Dual Enrollment class(s) or with Co-op or with DCMST/Michael Berry
    • A class that they did not have the prerequisite

II.  Announcements

    1. All students are to follow their schedule
    2. Attendance starts today and the audit policy is effective starting today
    3. If a student has a hole in their schedule they go to the auditorium during the period that the hole occurs
    4. There will be no buses on the first day of school; All DCMST & Micheal Berry students are to go to the auditorium during their DCMST & Micheal Berry scheduled time
    5. Co-op students are to go the auditorium and see Mr. Shooshanian during their Co-op time
    6. All students that attend DCMST, Michael Berry Center, Co-op, or Dual Enrollment must get an Early Leave Pass from Mrs. Beydoun in the main office by Friday, September 5
    7. No students will be allowed in the counseling office
    8. Students are to either be in class or in the auditorium, no students are to be in the hallway
    9. If you fill out a blue “Counselor Schedule Change Form” you will be called down to the counseling office or you will receive an updated schedule. Students are not allowed in the counseling office without a pass from the counselor. In addition, we are not dropping any AP classes for any students unless there is a scheduling conflict.

III.  NO PASSES!  Students are not to leave the auditorium until the bell rings. If a counselor makes a schedule adjustment they are not to write the student a pass, the student is to wait until the bell rings.

IV.  Please complete a Circle Map on your feelings about school
