HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
I hope this message finds you all well and dry and enjoying this weekend with your families! My weekend has been filled with soccer and family 🙂 Here is what you need to know for this week in kindergarten. If there are any changes to be made or additional information added, I’ll add the news as the week progresses. Have a wonderful week!
*Please join us on Halloween for our parade and classroom activities at 2:00 pm 🙂 Please sign into the office and get a visitors pass and join us on our walk around the block if you wish! After the parade we will go directly to room 106 and enjoy some activities and treats! If you are donating anything to the party feel free to send it in tomorrow, Monday 10-29-2018. If you have food items, please send in the day of the party on Wednesday! Remember to send your child to school in regular clothes and have them bring their costume to school in a bag with their name on it! Students can change into costumes after lunch right before the parade at 1:30 ish. Your child may also bring a small piece of candy or small candy bag for each child if they want but please make sure all items are individually wrapped and not baked goods. They will be placed into paper bags and then into backpacks and could get really messy! THANK YOU in advance to all the families and students for helping donate items for this party and for your amazing generosity and support. We are so lucky and I am the most lucky teacher around 🙂

*Important Reminders:
*Homework:Â The homework packet from last week is due on Monday the 29th. A new packet will be coming home tonight along with a new math game! This week in math we will be working on regular lessons and I will also be assessing again for updated math skills for the report cards.
*Conferences are quickly approaching! Please make sure you have signed up for one spot on one of the days provided. I will assign any family who has not yet signed up to make sure we meet and send home reminders at the end of the week on Friday. 🙂
*Popcorn: This Friday we have a half day of school so there will be NO popcorn sales!
*Library check out: Your child will visit the library again on Tuesday morning. Please make sure that your child’s book is in their backpack Monday night ready to be returned this next morning. Any lost or damaged books front he DuVall library will need to be replace by the individual child’s family. Thank you for helping your child become a responsible penguin!
*Reading Packs: Thank you for sending them back every day and spending about 10-15 minutes a night on the letters/words you find in there. This will help your child SO much reviewing their personal bags each night! Those students who had books sent home last week, make sure they are in there this week because they will be switched for one to two more this week! Woohoo these students rock!
