What a great day we had in kindergarten today! Our class was working so hard to learn about the number 5 and different ways to make it. We owe a big thank you to Bashir’s mom Mrs. Biaz for volunteering to help run our stations in math workshop today! If you’d like to come in to volunteer in math we’d love to have you just reply below and pick a date!

• Friday, October 16th, 2015 is a 1/2 day for us! But, if you are a Michigan or Michigan State fan your child can come to school supporting their favorite team!

• November 12th, 18th and 19th are parent teacher conferences! I will have a clipboard after school this week for you to sign up for a conference date and time. If you can not request your date and time for the conference, I will select a slot for you. Please notify my as soon as possible if you need to reschedule because these conferences are mandatory. Thank you for your help!

Today we enjoyed a kick off assembly at 8:10am in the gym! The principal explained the reward system to the students and we are already off to try and earn an awesome reward day. Mrs. Ross is ON this committee and will make sure that each month is AMAZING and worth striving for. Please check behavior sheets every night, sign them and encourage your child to go go go for green or BETTER!!!!

Greetings kindergarten families! Thank you for visiting our blog. Be sure to check it regularly to keep informed on what is happening in kindergarten. It is a work in progress and I have more pages that will be added as I learn more about creating it. I will also be learning how to upload pictures of your child to show you what great things are happening in room 111! Be sure to check it often (at least a couple times a week).
