Dear Families,
I hope this message finds you well and warm! I can’t believe next week is a two day week and Thanksgiving already! This year is flying by, but time flies when you have such a wonderful class to work with every day. I am one lucky teacher who is so thankful for her students. Have a wonderful week and I’ll update you if there are any changes or additions to our plans!
Next week, I would like to share a “Friendsgiving” meal with our class and the other kindergarten and first grade classes for Thanksgiving. we will be lining the hallway with tablecloths and having ONE LONG table to share this meal with the K/1st grade classes πΒ I will be bringing in pumpkin bread to share with the kids and we will eat pizza and spend some time appreciating our friends in the class π We will line the long hallway with tablecloths and make one LONG dinnerΒ table of friends π We also saved the juice boxes that Jack Bungee brought for the Halloween party and we are getting thirsty, so we will drink them π Thank you again Jack! Though this meal is not a “party”, If you would like to share this moment with us, I would LOVE to extend the invitation to parents in our classroom to join us. It’s so sweet watching the students relax and spend time enjoying each other and being grateful for our friendships. If you would like to help us with our meal, please check out our sign up genius to either send in paper goods, food items or a dollar towards pizza. We THANK you in advance for your support!
*I sent out the sign up genius tonight. Here is the sign up genius link though if you’d like to cut and paste this into your address line:
