Second Grade Sculptures

Second grade artists have created wire and plaster sculptures based on their movement drawings from earlier this year! They formed their person out of wire, posed it, and covered it in plaster. Then they painted their sculptures; many artists chose to use a splatter paint technique!

Kindergarten Primary Colors

Kindergarten artists have been using the primary colors in their artwork!   They used horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines to draw spider webs and then colored in their webs with the primary colors. Then they looked at Mondrian’s “Broadway Boogie Woogie” and created a map collage using the primary colors!
