Fifth Grade Charcoal Animals

While learning about value, fifth grade artists looked at the different values in black and white animal photos and tried to recreate the values they saw.

They had to look carefully to try and match as many values as they could in the photo with charcoal. Doing this helped to make their drawings look more realistic.
