Mrs. Nasir’s class is studying the country of Yemen! In the art room artists looked at the very detailed silver beads that are made in Yemen.

Each artist created beads out of clay and added texture for details. Texture describes the way something feels.

When the clay dried, each artist painted their clay beads silver.

Then, they strung their beads in a pattern with colored beads.
