First grade artists looked at different types of dinosaurs for this art project. They each chose their favorite dinosaur and drew it with black marker. Then they added texture to their dinosaur with crayons and texture plates. They finished by painting their dinosaurs.
After creating chalk mandalas outside, each fourth grade artist created their own colored pencil mandala. We used radial symmetry with four or more lines of symmetry to make our mandalas.
