Kindergarten artists have been mixing the primary colors, red, yellow, and blue, and creating the secondary colors, purple, green, and orange.
Each artist had painted black lines when we were still learning about the different types of lines back in September. With red, yellow, and blue paint, each artist experimented to see all of the colors they could make while painting around their lines.

After reading the story “Mouse Paint” by Ellen Stoll Walsh, they drew three mice with paintbrushes. Then each artist mixed two primary colors to make a secondary color.
