Fifth grade artists began the year by reviewing the elements of LINE and COLOR.

Each artist started by drawing a city-scape and creating patterns with lines inside of each building.  They made sure to show line variation with the types and widths of lines to add interest to their piece.

Each artist created a painted paper for the background.  They used only warm or only cool colors and a variety of printing and painting methods.
