Fifth grade artists in Ms. Kesserouani’s class have been studying Brazil for their world fair day.

In the art room, they used what they had learned about Brazil to create silhouettes that might be in Brazil.

We learned about what a silhouette is and how they can be created with light behind an object or person.

After drawing and cutting out their silhouettes from Brazil, each artist made pieces of chalk-marbled paper to glue behind their silhouette.
