Kindergarten artists have been learning about the primary colors!
We looked at the artwork of Piet Mondrian and saw how he used the primary colors and black lines, so we created our own artwork with primary colors and black lines! Since it was close to Halloween, we created spider webs!
Then we looked at Mondrian’s “Broadway Boogie Woogie” and noticed how it looked like a map made out of squares, rectangles, and the primary colors. We made our own primary colored maps by cutting and gluing squares and rectangles to our papers.
