Fifth Grade Abstract, Low-Relief Sculptures

Fifth grade artists have been working with cardboard to build low-relief sculptures!

They were focusing on BALANCE and tried to balance their artwork using abstract designs. They could choose to show balance in a way that is symmetrical or asymmetrical.

Color and pattern can also be used to help create balance so each artist painted their sculpture when they were finished building it.
