On the first day of art class this year each artist practiced our art room procedures. Then, everyone made their own monochromatic self portrait for our Welcome Back Mural.
We learned that monochromatic means ‘one color’ and we colored our self portraits with just one color.
A self-portrait is a picture an artist draws of themselves!
Once every class made a self portrait, they were added all together to make a mural! Come and see our mural hanging outside of the art room at open house on Thursday, September 15.
