I. Course Description
Dearborn Physical Education curriculum is guided by state and district standards/GLCE’s presented in Michigan’s K-8 Grade Level Content Expectations. Physical education is an integral component of the education process. Research has shown that students who participate in physical exercise will enjoy enhanced memory, better concentration, and increased problem solving abilities. Our goal is to develop the physical, mental, and social potential of all students, and prepare students to live a healthy lifestyle.

All teachers will also have their own classroom rules and expectations that students will be expected to follow that keep structure and safety in mind.
