Retelling Goldilocks and the Three Bears (Using Imaginative Play)
*Practice retelling the story using items in your home.
*Gather 3 stuffed animals (do not have to be bears). One large, one medium, one small. Then use some type of doll to be Goldilocks.
*Gather 3 types of chairs, one large, medium, and small.
*Gather 3 bowls, one large, medium, and small.
Allow your child to tell you the story of the three bears using the materials. This is great imaginative play along with the skill of retelling the story.

Phone Number Practice
This week, our main math lesson will be to learn our phone number! Today you can prep the activity and begin practicing. We will use this as our math lesson for Tuesday and Wednesday as well so we give them time to memorize it!
(Teach them the number they will call in case of an emergency-home phone or Mom/Baba’s cell phone number).
*See photo below on how to set up this activity!
*Prepare 12 paper plates. Write numbers 0-9 on each plate, along with a (#) plate, and a (*) plate.
*Hang them up as seen in the picture below.
*Begin practicing by having them tap lightly on the numbers as though they are dialing on a phone.
*It would also be a great time to learn how to dial 9-1-1, and discuss how this only used in an emergency situation!

(This is a great activity for practicing number recognition, so place it in an area you do not mind leaving it up for a while!)
