Literacy
Today’s letter for review is Dd. Build the letter D three times using different materials around your house… examples: playdoh, slime, toothpicks, straws, coins, silverware, legos ect. Then listen to the book about the letter D!
Math
Since today is a raining day, I thought you could do a scavenger hunt around your house! Look for, count and write down the number of each item picture below. As a challenge, think of two extra items to count and add them to your list! An even bigger challenge would be to label your items by writing the words!!
Movement
Have an indoor dance party!! Dancing does start with Dd!

Using your sidewalk chalk, draw your own garden of flowers. Make sure you take a picture and show me your beautiful gardens!
Can you draw:
5 daisies 10 tulips
15 blackeyed susan
20 bumblebees 7 trees
When you are done drawing your own garden, look around and go for a walk! Are there flowers in your yard? On your street? In your neighborhood? Count how many flowers you see? How many red? How many yellow? Other colors?

Today’s letter is Bb. The activity for the day is for each of you to think of at least on character from a TV show, a book or even a video game that starts with the letter Bb. Then grab paper and some crayons and draw the character and write the name. As a challenge, try to think of, draw and write about three characters!!

Literacy and Math
We have done all the letters of the alphabet as our letters of the week. So I want to do a review of each letter for the remainder of the school year. Everyday I will choose a different letter with an activity to go along with it. Today will be letter Aa. How many A’s do you have in your name? Below is the name of your classmates. Count all the A’s in each persons name. Who has the most? Who has the least? Who has the same? As a challenge, count how many A’s in total in everyone’s name!! Don’t forget to send me pictures!!

For today’s activity I would like you to watch the video “It Looked Like Spilt Milk”, then head outside and look at the clouds in the sky! What do you see?? Draw a picture and write about the different shaped clouds you saw in the sky! You could even use cotton balls to create your illustration! Also, count or tally the number of clouds that go by while you are outside!! Don’t forget to sent me pictures….I will be posting them tomorrow!
