Dear Snow Families,
Just a reminder that we will adhere to the district recess and lineup policy. When the weather is below 20 degrees, we will be indoors (we will take wind chill into account). If the temperature is above 20 degrees, we will be outside for lineup and recess. Please make sure that students are dressed appropriately… coats, boots, scarf, mittens, hats, and snow pants.
Thank you and Happy Monday!
Dear families,
You are invited to attend Snow school’s annual Title One meeting. We will discuss Title One services and how they are utilized at Snow and with your child. The principal, Mrs. Alcodray will share Snow’s data for the past 3 years. Light refreshments will be served. Come join us on Monday, November 4th at 3:00 in the Cafeteria.
Dear Snow Families,
This year for Halloween, students will be participating in an all-school parade. We have 7 stations set up where students will march down the hallways and stop for a treat at each station. We are still looking for donations for treats including (peanut-free) candy, pencils, rings, erasers, stickers…
We are asking all students NOT to eat candy at school, but to take their treats home.
Just a reminder that costumes can be worn. No masks, minimal makeup, and no weapons.
Thank you,
Snow Team

Dear Snow Families,
This year for Halloween we are going to begin a new Snow tradition- an all school Halloween Parade! Every class level will have a station to decorate and pass candy out to all students.
Students may wear their costumes to school. This is optional. For safety reasons, we ask that costumes are appropriate. We also ask that there are no masks, weapons, excessive makeup or anything that will distract students from learning as they will be in their costumes for a full school day.
Please let your classroom teacher know if you are willing to be a Parent Leader. This will involve organizing grade level parent helpers, table decorations, candy bags, and candy collection for your grade.
We will also be requesting candy donations on teacher blogs as there are over 450 students in the building! We are asking every class to donate 5 big bags of candy. Thank you for supporting Snow!
