Everyone is invited to attend the 7th Annual Young Authors’ Festival on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the University of Michigan-Dearborn’s Mardigian Library. YAF is a FREE half-day festival for children in grades 3-5, their parents and teachers. Children attend fun breakout sessions to develop their writing and reading skills, while adults learn tips for supporting their children’s literacy development. Jean Alicia Elster, Michigan author of Michigan Notable Book The Colored Car, is the special guest speaker for 2019. A selection of books by Ms. Elster will be available for purchase and signing at the end of the event. You may also bring your own copies for signing.
