Lastly, the built a classroom mailbox using an old cardboard box and decorated it using materials from around the room.

As a follow up to the Michigan Science Center field trip, we conducted our own experiment this week. After reading the book “The Cloud” by Eric Carle, the children experimented with their “cloud” and tried to make it rain using eye droppers and colored water. This also turned into a color mixing activity.
