Reading Challenge/Book Swap
Thank you for donating so many books for our Book Swap on 3/16! The Snow School Community is very generous and kind!
Our Reading Challenge has begun and many students are talking to me about what they have accomplished so far! If you haven’t started yet do it TODAY!!!
Happy Reading Month 🙂
Snow Give Back Team
During Winter Break we are asking families to participate in a Habit 4 Win/Win activity. Please sort through your books at home. IF there are any you no longer want please bring them to Snow School and put them in the bin by Mrs. Bush’s room.
These books will then be reused in our Thursday (3/16 and 3/23) Book Share table. Each book will cost $.50. This is a win/win because you are reorganizing your books (discovering some you may have forgotten) AND you are helping a friend to buy a new book at a low cost. The money will be used by the Leader in Me Team to complete the main hallway decorating.
If you have any question please see Mrs. Bush
M&M Spring Challenge
Today a new reading challenge will begin! Your goal is to work on MobyMax everyday to complete 1-2 lessons and then spend time reading on Myon. This challenge will run through Spring Break ending April 9, 2017. Top 20 students will have a pizza lunch and 4 of those will be selected to win a gift card.
Completing this challenge will help to increase your reading lexile and prepare you to do well on the spring M-Step and NWEA.

Snow School Peer Pals
Dear Snow Parents,
Snow Elementary is committed to fostering an inclusive environment for our students with and without disabilities. As part of our efforts to support students with disabilities we have developed a program to promote awareness.
Peer Pals is dedicated to building relationships between general education students and students with special needs. This program allows general education students to develop empathy and understanding of differing abilities. It allows for students with special needs to build friendships with same age typically developing peers. Some students will be paired in social/academic activities with a peer pal. Student participation is voluntary.
Kindergarten Parent Meeting Today at 4:45 p.m
Good morning! Just a reminder that our kindergarten parent meeting is tonight at 4:45. The kindergarten doors will be locked, so please use the main door to enter the building. We will keep the meeting brief (30 minutes) to give you time to have dinner before coming back for science night if that is on your agenda. Thank you again for being so flexible, it is greatly appreciated! See you tonight 🙂
