Parent – Teacher Conferences –

Wednesday, March 29 is conferences.  I am sending home a conference slip for those children and parents that I would like to see.  If the slip is not attached to this note, it is not necessary at this time to attend conferences.  If you absolutely must speak with me about your child’s report card, behavior, etc. then please me know and we can meet that night.

Volunteer for Book Fair and you could Win a prize

We are starting to recruit volunteers to work our book fair at the end of the month!  (aren’t you all excited)  🙂
Dates: March 28, 29, & 30th (Tues, Wed, & Thurs)
Hours: Tuesday & Thursday 9am-4:30pm, Wednesday 9am-8pm
I have placed a sign-up board outside the main office with 2 hour time slots for parents to sign up for volunteering.  The dates and volunteer duties are posted on each sheet so you know what you will be expected to help out with.
This year we are raffling off two prizes to our volunteers!  If you are willing to donate 2 hours of your time during the fair, you will be entered to win a brand new Red Fleece Blanket, and also entered to win a brand new Thirty-One Tote Bag!  (one entry for each prize per volunteer)
The kids who make purchases during the fair will also be entered into a raffle to win one of 5 Scholastic brand Tumblers with lid/straw (similar to Starbucks cups).  Five cups will be raffled off to the students at the end of the fair!
Look for fliers and information about the fair to come home with your kids next week.  The school gets a percentage of the sales towards supplies and books they need, so I encourage you all to help support our awesome staff.  If you want to volunteer but don’t have time to go inside the building to sign up, please email me and let me know what day/time you can help out.
Let’s have an awesome book fair this year!  Thank you all for everything you do to support the school and staff!
