Computer Asset Tag needed

Important! Please to either email Bernadette Drennon, the secretary (drennob@dearbornschools.org) or call the office with the asset tag number that is on their students chromebook. If they do not have a chromebook, we need to update that as well. I have been informed by computer services that if a number is not listed on the chromebook inventory sheet that was shared in February that their computer will be disabled in the near future.

Mrs. Keebler is absent tomorrow

I am not feeling well today and I will not be in tomorrow. Last time I was sick there was a lot of rowdy behavior. Please remind the students that we are in a sub shortage and we need to be polite to the subs that we get. Remind them I expect to get a good report and I will know who is misbehaving because I’ve ask the sub to write down names for me. It will be a fun day with High Tech/High Touch! It would be sad if there was poor behavior and the scientist had to cancel.

Blog posting

For most of the year I have been double and sometimes triple posting the information from the blog to Schoology and Class Dojo. I will no longer be doing this. All information will be posted on Schoology. The district has added all parent names and emails to Schoology and the blog must be subscribed to in order to see. I will still post pictures or quick reminders in Class Dojo.

Welcome Back

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday vacation! I am excited to see everyone and hear all the news I’ve missed these past two weeks. I hope everyone was safe and healthy. If you were exposed to COVID over break or you are not feeling well PLEASE STAY HOME. Please remember, if you need to say home, please email or message me on Class Dojo and I can turn on Zoom to help them keep up with the class while at home.

A couple of reminders before tomorrow:

  • Bring boots, snow pants, gloves and a hat to go outside if the temperature is above 20 degrees, we will be going outside to play and for fresh air.
  • Bring a couple of masks because sometimes masks need to be changed through the day for various reasons and it’s good to have a spare mask when needed.
  • As you may be aware, Covid cases are continuing to spread at a high rate throughout the nation. As we return it is very important that we closely monitor our staff and students and that we are following our mitigation plans. Please help us keep our students healthy and in school by doing the following:
  • If your child or anyone in your household has been exposed over the Holiday Break to Covid, please keep your child home from school and contact the school office for further guidance.
  • If your child or anyone in your household has any symptoms of illness or has tested positive for covid, please keep your child home from school and contact the school office for further guidance.
  • If your child or anyone in your household is unable to pass the Daily District Screener, please keep your child home from school and contact the school office for further guidance.
  • If your child or anyone in your household has a covid test result that is pending-either rapid or PCR, please keep your child home from school and contact the school office for further guidance.

We need every individual to follow this advisory message in order for us to help mitigate the spread of Covid-19 within our school community.
