Monday is PJ Day, Tuesday is Meme Day, Wednesday is Choose Your Decade, Thursday is Neon Day & Friday is Bryant Color Day (7th grade is white).
We will be having a social studies test next week on Thursday about the 5 Main Religions… PP’s were added in the last entries, students took a pre-test and have access on iLearn to all five individual quizzes for practice. Here is the Kahoot! for that to help study. This is a 40 point test!

The first form with parent signature, teacher approval, possible partner, hypothesis, question, etc. Is due January 31st and it is a grade. It is the first downloaded form on this entry.

Social Studies Play Presentations are this Friday. There is NO test for Chapter 9, the play is it.

This Friday is a half-day as well as Tuesday & Wednesday of next week.
There is no school Monday because of Martin Luther King’s BiDay.
All Interactive Notebooks, TCI Lesson Games & NEWSLEA’s must be finished by Friday.
We started our Play in Social Studies today; all students were given directions along with roles, group assignments and a rubric. This is a 3rd quarter grade and takes the place of Chapter 9 test. It is due on January 24th.

All NEWSLEA Articles must be completed as well as an updated Interactive Notebook by next Wednesday (15th); the notebook is summative this quarter.

The “No One Eats Alone” initiative starts this week.
We had a Science Unit Test last week on a lot of the information going back to September. Not only was there a iLearn component, but a written section as well.
We have a Social Studies Test on Chapter 7 & 8 this Wednesday “Ancient Egypt”. Students were given a Study Guide on Friday as well as a pharaoh poster board activity (both due tomorrow). We will review tomorrow. Here is the Kahoot!

Retakes for Science and/or Social Studies Tests are this Thursday before or after school.
Progress Reports went out Friday to any student that has a C- or lower. Please, keep in mind that grades are ever changing and that by checking the parent portal and/or student connect that really is your Progress Report.

Welcome Back from Thanksgiving Break! I hope everyone is well rested and had a nice time.
Science “Off-The-Grid” Culminating Google Slide Group Activity is due tomorrow. We did some peer editing and constructive criticism today.

Science Test next Tuesday (9th).
We started Chapter 7 in Social Studies today. The next three chapters are all on Ancient Egypt… expect a test on Chapters 7 & 8 before Christmas break on December 18th.
Also, the extra-credit assignment in SS is due this Thursday.
