Class news

Star of the Week – Because we lost 2 days of school last week. Zahraa will still be star of the week next week.  Alecia will begin her star of the week on April 30th.

Science Quiz Tomorrow -We will review the study guide before the quiz.  Here are the answers Mystery 2 Study Guide.

MSTEP May 1st and 3rd – ELA ,  May 8th and 10th Math

MSTEP Prep – Students should continue to practice with MobyMax everyday.  I would like to point out that students will not be able to use any classroom materials or extra resources during the MSTEP or NWEA.  It is VERY IMPORTANT that the have all their multiplication facts memorized by MAY 8th.  This will help greatly with their success on the math portion of the test.

Playground Mud – Please make sure your student has an extra pair of shoes or rain boots this spring.  The playground gets muddy when it rains and we don’t want them to track it on to the carpet which we sit on during group.  Thanks!

DIA Away –  4/26 – The DIA will bring an art trailer to Howe so all the students can experience it. There will be some hands on activities.

Brainstormers Assembly – Wednesday 4/25- The Brainstormers will be coming in to perform skits based on the writing of our students.

Also, Ms. Stephanie is looking for a new home for the Guinea pigs.  If you would like a new pet at the end of the school year please add your name to the form.  If there is more than one student that would like to keep them we will do a lottery and pull a name.
