I’m sick – Hi Everyone, I am out sick with a cold.  I am still feeling sick and I will not be able to teach tomorrow.  My daughter was the substitute today and she said there was a lot of bad behavior today, especially from students number 13, 17 and 19.  Please check your Class Dojo for more details about your child’s behavior today.  Please talk to your students about respectful behavior for the guest teacher tomorrow. Please remind them to use the 2 finger silent symbol to help remind their classmates to settle down.  If they work as a team, they can all have a great day tomorrow.

Wednesday – Holiday Party and Gingerbread houses  – I still need a couple of parents who can help set up for our party and help with the clean up after.  We are also missing a some treats (cookies would be great) and some healthy food.   Everything else was signed up for!  Thank you for all your donations!!  If you can come to help clean up, please arrive by 1:30.    Everyone else should arrive by 2:00.  We will be in the cafeteria.  HOPEFULLY, I will be healthy enough to join you guys!

Thank you for all your support!
Holiday presents – speaking of holiday presents I wanted to let you know that I never expect any gifts from anyone, but everyone is always very generous around the holidays.  I need to let you know my doctor has put me on a special diet to control several health issues so please do not send any food or candy gifts this year.  I also have very sensitive skin and can’t use regular soaps and lotions.  I love to get things for the classroom like office supplies (sheet protectors, card stock, markers, paper)  or things for the students like prizes for the prize box or contests, Legos, educational games, science activities, or magnets.  I also enjoy gift cards to Amazon, Target, Kroger or any gas station.  Thanks for your understanding!  Again I’m not expecting anything.
Final Date – Everything is due for the Native American Projects on Tuesday 12/11.  Students will begin presenting to the school on 12/11.  Please make sure they have practiced what they will say.  Their presentation is part of their grade.  Projects may be turned in on Monday if you wish.  We will begin presenting on Tuesday.
Native American Cultural Fair for the parents Wednesday, 12/12 2:30-3:30.  Please come and see all the Native American presentation of Mrs. Keebler’s class.

Native American Research report – Student should be finished with their research report in class yesterday and it should be ready to print from Google Classroom.  Some still have to some work to do on their reports.   This weekend they should finish their poster boards and their artifact or project to go with the board.  Here are the guidelines for the project again.

Native American Computer projects – We have been working with the district Tech Coach on our electronic peer assessment of our reports. She will be coming on Monday to assist the students who would like to do a computer project to go with their poster board.  Student can make a Google slide presentation, present a video the found or made, create a game with Quizlet or any other ideas they have to present what they have learned with the computer.
