Star of the Week is Anesa

Spelling Test – several students did not do well on this week’s spelling test. I will do a retake on Monday. Please ask your child their score on their test Friday and anyone who didn’t get 100% will be allowed to retake. Please help them study. Their words can be found in their planner and on the Week 1 pamphlet.

Spelling Menu – Because we had trouble this week we will now be starting a Spelling Menu, each week. Students will need to choose 3 activities to complete on the back of the paper or attach your own paper, to practice the spelling words. This will be due every Friday. I hope we will see better test results next week.

iReady practice – we have now finished our iReady testing and it is time to begin practicing iReady at home. Students should do 15-20 minutes a day of iReady. They should alternate between reading and math so they will improve in both area.
