Hassan will be the Star of the week starting Monday 4/10. He will make his poster about his life, be our line leader, bring sharing, his favorite book and his letter from his parents about what makes him special. It is best to spread out these activities over the week.

Penpal Update – Each child got to meet their penpal this week in a face to face interview over a video call. We have had a lot of fun comparing climates and have found out that 60 degrees feels very different to those who live in FL and think that is freezing and time for a coat, hat and mittens and those in MI who are ready for shorts and t-shirts at 60 degrees. Both groups of kids have been asking to share their personal information with their new friends like gaming ids, emails and maybe even phone numbers. We will be sending home a permission slip this week. Please let us know if you would be willing for them to have contact with their new friends outside of school. Our pen pals school year ends next month, it would be wonderful if they have formed a lasting friendship with someone in another state!
