Morning Meeting – Every students should login to Schoology everyday at 8:55 AM. We will start each morning with a Zoom call for everyone. The link for Zoom is found in Schoology.
Schoology Tour for Kids and Parents – Here is a Schoology Tour video that shows students how to find everything they need in Schoology. Please watch the video together so that you know where to find everything also and can help them if they get lost. This video will help them learn where to go for everything and help them complete there Scavenger Hunt assignment which is due Wednesday.
DocHub – One of the biggest problem I have faced with distance learning is having a way for students to write/draw on a computer assignment and turn it in. DocHub will allow us to do this. Here is a tutorial video on how to get DocHub ready for the kids to use. Please watch the video and install DocHub for your student. If you are having trouble please email me and I can walk you through the process on a video call.
The district has placed a wealth of information on the Back to School page of their website. This page is well worth spending some time on and may answer many of your questions. Even as an employee, I’ve learned a lot just skimming through the page links!
Included on this page is a Student Online Learning Handbook for the 2020-21 school year. One piece of information from the handbook that you’ll want to make note of is the creation of a Help Desk line for parents.
