Costumes – We started applying the designs to our shirts today with the glue. Tomorrow we hope to start dying the shirts if they are dry. Please don’t wear good clothing tomorrow. We will do our best to stay clean, but accidents can happen.
NWEA testing – we will be testing tomorrow and Thursday mornings. Please make sure your student has a good breakfast and is well rested so they will do well on their testing.
West African Research Report due dates –
Notes were due today 5/20
Outline is due by Thursday 5/23
Research paper due by Tuesday 5/28
Google Slide presentation due by Thursday 5/30
Students will be presenting their projects on Thursday 5/30 and Friday 5/31.
I looked at everyone notes and made comment this weekend and most still need work. If the notes are not complete at this time it is now homework. The outline is due by this Thursday 5/23. We will have some time to do it in class, but we will also be testing 2 days this week, so this will also be homework if students don’t have time to finish in class.
Reading Log – This week’s reading log that is due 5/22 will be the last reading log of the year. As we get ready to present our project and memorize our lines for the cultural play, I would like student to have plenty of time to be well prepared.
