Native American Research report – Student should be finished with their research report in class yesterday and it should be ready to print from Google Classroom. Some still have to some work to do on their reports. This weekend they should finish their poster boards and their artifact or project to go with the board. Here are the guidelines for the project again.
Native American Computer projects – We have been working with the district Tech Coach on our electronic peer assessment of our reports. She will be coming on Monday to assist the students who would like to do a computer project to go with their poster board. Student can make a Google slide presentation, present a video the found or made, create a game with Quizlet or any other ideas they have to present what they have learned with the computer.

Anyone who is willing to donate prizes please let me know.
Field Trip – I have planned a STEM field trip to the December 13th from 10-1 PM. The trip is $8, it will start with a STEM lesson, then we have lunch, then open skating, everyone bring their own lunch. We will need parent drivers, there will be NO BUS. Permission slips will be coming soon. Please make sure you have all paperwork completed with the office to chaperone. Parents only have to pay if they plan on skating. Please let me know if you plan on skating so I know how many to pay for. If you paid extra for an adult and you need money back please let me know.
Gingerbread houses Wednesday 12/19– Every year I like to make Gingerbread houses with my students. We start with a milk carton and “glue” on graham crackers to make it look like a house, then we decorate it with candy. It is a fun activity! We will need donations of candy, graham crackers, and white frosting. I have only had 2 people sign up. We also have a little party at the same time and we will have some party foods also. If we don’t get more who can donate I will cancel the Gingerbread houses. Here is the sign up sheet.
