Field trip to the Fire Safety House Thursday
We will depart by bus between 12:15-12:30. If you are chaperoning please check in with the office and wait on the couches outside the office.
Permission slips due-
For our Cranbrook trip on November 8th by Friday. Please turn them in as soon as possible.
Book bags-
Went home on Friday. This is to help supplement your reading materials at home. They are due by Thursday. If students finish their book early and would like to switch them sooner that is fine.
Ada is our new Star of the Week- please read the blog so you know all the things to do.
Class Dojo –
On Friday I posted the reward pictures for student who earned their Friday rewards, you can keep track of their positive and negative behavior (I will post messages there if there are behavior issues), I have been double posting information on both the Blog and Class Dogo while we are waiting for 1 family to sign up for Class Dojo. If your family has not signed up for Class Dojo, please sign up right away.

Daily Homework expectations
Daily Reading 20 minutes -Each day students should be reading for 20 minutes, they should be reading books at their reading level.
Reading Log-This is on Google Classroom. They need to complete all entries by Thursday. They need to write 3-5 sentences by Thursday, these will answer the DOK question they choose.
Math – Most days there should be a math paper coming home for homework. This will vary depending on how long the lesson takes. They should also practice multiplication facts daily.
Practice spelling words – your student should be practicing their words each night for the test Friday. We have computer spelling activities we will do in school also.
Unfinished work– any work that is not finished in class should be completed at home. Please check Parent Connect to keep up with your student’s missing assignments.
