Dear Parents,
As you already know from the note at the beginning of the week we have lice in our room. Please try to be proactive and buy some type of lice prevention product. Fairy Tales is a brand that has several kinds there are many others. Please keep the girls’ hair tied back in a pony tail or bun. Please keep the boys’ hair shorter for a while. Please check your child’s hair daily for lice or eggs (nits), let me know right away if you spot any on your child. In order to prevent spreading this in our room and school, please keep your child at home until all nits and lice are gone. You are not required to keep them home after the first treatment; however last year some classrooms had lice in their room for months because children didn’t stay home and it kept spreading.
