This week’s Star of the Week – Hadi He will make a poster board (NOT foam board) for Monday, bring a favorite book on Tuesday, bring sharing on Wednesday, and invite a guest to lunch on Thursday. Friday have the star’s parent writes a letter about why they are so special to them. The days maybe switched around except the poster board. Only one thing per day.  Next week’s Star of the Week will be Mahdi K.

December’s Student of the Month was Jad – Congratulations Jad for having 100% positive behavior, being a great student and a wonderful friend!

Important Please Pick a Chaperone for Lansing Trip on Thursday 1/9/20 – 8:30 AM – 4:00 ish PM – If you are a chaperone please arrive at 8:30, please sign in to the office, let me know that you have arrived and wait in the cafeteria. Please pack a morning and afternoon snack and a lunch for your child. If you are sending money for the gift shop please do not send more than $20 and put it in a ziplock bag with your child’s name and teacher’s name on the bag. Please wear your school t-shirt or a red shirt. Please remember you must have completed your chaperone paperwork in order to attend the trip. Keebler students will be in Group 1 and Polster and Davis students will be in group 2. If you have students in multiple classrooms please decide which group you will be in and which group you are chaperoning for. Please click on the following and choose your chaperone for your child. December reading logs – due 1/6/20

Unfinished work – we are getting near the end of the marking period. All work must be completed by 1/17/20

IXL Challenge – In order to prepare for our upcoming NWEA test we are all participating in the IXL challenge. Anyone who completes the 30 skills by 1/16 will get an invitation to the party. I will also be giving prizes to the top winners of the contest. The people who complete the most skilsl will win a prize. Make sure your student practices every day. Remember some of you signed a contract to have your student practice a minimum of 15 minutes a day, this is important for the new read by 3rd grade law.
