Cultural Play Costumes

on May 10, 2019

We will be making our own shirts to wear in the cultural play using glue and dye.  The final product will look something like this:

Please contribute $1.00 per student to buy dye for the class.

Students should provide a plain white T-shirt and a bottle of liquid glue.  The shirt should be large and loose-fitting, so buy one that is a few sizes too big.

You can find both of these things at most craft stores such as Michael’s or JOANN.

Both boys and girls should wear plain black shorts or pants with no stripes, logos, or writing.

Girls should wear a BROWN grass skirt with no flowers.  We will be making these in class out of paper bags, but you can also buy one if you choose.

Thank you!
