Pretest – Recently, I sent home a science test with the pretest attached to the back.  Students take pretests in math and science before we start a unit.  This lets us know what they know before the unit is taught.  This is not part of their report card and should never be a concern since it is what they knew before we taught the unit.

Field Trip– Permission slips when home today for our trip to Cranbrook Institute of Science.  This will be a wonderful, educational trip.  We will have a math workshop on Money, we will get to see the traveling exhibit on Egypt.  This is the subject of our spring cultural play, and we will have time the visit the rest of the science museum.  This is a FREE trip for Howe students and parent chaperone are $10.  No siblings please.

Snow gear– We will be going outside to play on all days that the weather is warmer than 20 degrees (including the wind chill).  Please make sure your students are prepared for the weather.  Please send snow pants, boots, hats, coats (with zippers that work) and gloves.  Thank you.

Communication – If you ever have any questions or concerns about any homework or anything else please contact me at my email keeblek@dearbornschools.org.  Please do not post questions to the blog because I may not see these as often and can’t reply directly to the person.  My door is always open if you need help with homework or have any other needs, please let me know.
