A couple of Reminders about School:
Bedtime
I am receiving some late submissions, meaning I am receiving submitted work after 10 PM, sometimes after midnight or 1 AM. Your child needs his/her sleep and should be in bed no later than 10 PM on school nights (which is late).
Nobody should be working online, staring at blue light late at night, an hour before bed. We are using screens too much as it is. Your children are coming to class bleary eyed, laying on couches or still in bed, materials can’t be found, and chewing with open mouths in front of the camera.
I need your children focused in the morning and ready at 9:00 AM. Your child should be well rested, eaten or had something to drink BEFORE class, out of bed and at a desk with their materials.
Zoom Sessions
Your child needs to keep his/her cameras on during our zoom sessions so I can see what he/she is doing. Some students are leaving, watching youtube, or playing video games during class. Some students are just watching me, but they need to working too. Check to see what your child is doing during class please.
For you:
Report Cards
In parent connect you can open or download a copy of your child’s report card.
When parents click on the link, it will open or download a pdf copy of the report card.
Math Help
Your child can get help with multiplication facts or fact fluency on moby max, which is on clever, which is on Dearborn Public Schools : student portal.
Module 3 is all about Multiplication and Division, so your child needs to practice their facts. Zearn also has some fact fluency practice. On this blog, I also have math links for student practice.
