March 8 – 12, 2021 Schedule
Monday or Tuesday of next week your child will return for in-person learning. Students should bring a backpack with the following:
* Communication folder
* Learn Math Book
* Practice Math Book
* Confronting Challenges magazine (if they have it, otherwise I will give them one when they get here)
* water bottle (our drinking fountain is closed)
* a healthy snack(no chips, cookies or candy)
* a lunch (unless your child is ordering a hot lunch)
* Students should also wear a coat. We will be going outside for recess if the weather allows. If the temperature is below 20 degrees, we will stay in.
Students may not bring toys to school.
Students do not need to bring supplies. The school has purchased glue, crayons, pencils, colored pencils, etc for each child.

March 8 & 9: Cheese Nachos or Veggie Wrap
March 15 & 16: Cheese Mac and Cheese
March 18 & 19: Halal Beef Hot Dog or Cheese Quesadilla
March 22 & 23: Halal Chicken Patty or Fish Sticks
March 25 & 26: Cheese Pizza or Cat in the Hat Strawberry Yogurt Parfait
Group A students attend in person school on Monday, March 8. Group B students attend in person school on Tuesday, March 9.
Group A include: Mohamad A1., Mohammed A2., Ava, Natalie, Mohammed B., Mariam, Mahdi C, Eve, Batoul C., Amelia, Ahmed, Merlin
Group B include : Sophia, Hadi, Mahdi K. Victoria, Batoul M., Hassan, Yassen, Layana, Siham, Jad, Maha, Hussein

Be aware that in person school begins at 9:40. Students may be dropped off at Door 12 at 9:30 and no earlier!! Parents are not allowed in the building at this time. Dismissal is at 2:20 at Door 12.
If you have any questions, email me please. The schedules keep changing and it has been confusing at times, so I apologize if I messed anything up, email me so I can make corrections.

Important Schedule Changes
The time we begin school is changing starting Monday, March 1. We will start following the new schedule while continuing to Zoom from home. I will send out the A and B schedule next week, along with helpful tips and reminders for March 8 and 9.

Learning Labs: 2/22 – 2/26
Next week, we will begin in-person learning labs from 2:00 – 3:00 PM. These students will come to the building. We know it can be challenging to bring your students to school for a short period of time, so if they can’t make it, I understand.

Schedule Changes March 1
To get used to starting school for our Hybrid Schedule (March 8), we will begin our Zoom Sessions at 8:35 A.M. starting on March 1. You have also received an email from me on February 2 stating whether your child is following attending on “A” or “B” days for the Hybrid Schedule.

This has been quite a school year! I am so happy to be a part of this supportive community!
Over the summer, I got married! My husband and I got to celebrate our marriage on a beautiful day in July!
I have recently just completed the process in changing my last name. I am now Sarah Verrier (pronounced very-er).Â
I wanted to let you know of the change since I communicate regularly with our community.
