Half Day of School Today! It is a Professional Development Day for teachers.

WOW! We’ve doubled the size of the PTA from last year.

Some parents are hesitant about getting involved, but even just their $10 membership fee helps to contribute to the activities we do at school, and now, over 70 parents and teachers will receive email updates, meeting notes, and information about the inner workings of the activities at school!

Kinder- 12 of 16 (75%! Wins the treat!

1st- 18 of 23 (78% Wins the treat!)

2nd- 11 of 22 (50% Great job!)

3rd- 11 of 14 (79% Wins the treat!)

4th- 9 of 24 (38% We’ll get ’em next year!)

5th- 11 of 22 (50% Great job!)

Congratulations K, 1, and 3!!  PTA will be bringing in cider and donuts on October 6th!

Mid-Module Review is available on the math page and in your child’s folder. It is reviewing lessons 1-10, we have learned and been working on in class. We will review in class and take the assessment Friday. There is a blank review and a review key on the math page of this blog. Your child has his/her review worksheet in their folders. Also, your child may practice the IXL recommendations for math if time/want.

Today is the pickup for our Mums in the back parking lot between 2 pm and dismissal.

Wednesday is a Late Start Day

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow (Friday, September 16) will be a half day of school. Students in the Special Education programs will be dismissed at 11:30 and the Montessori Program will dismiss at 12:05. Teachers will be receiving important professional development and training in the afternoon.

Reminder that tomorrow night- Wednesday, September 7th is Howe Montessori’s Open House from 6-7:30 pm. Please come join us to see your child’s school! The students can go to their classrooms and show you around. After- we will have a scavenger hunt to work on. A prize will be given out by PTA for those who complete it. PTA has also paid for the Kona ice truck to be here! We are looking forward to seeing you and your family at this event.
