The Candy Cane Gram sale has officially begun! Please talk with your child tonight about how many candy cane grams they would like to make for friends. These are $1 per gram again this year. Tomorrow, in folders each child will an order form and ziplock bag. Wednesday, we will send home how many you request and have paid for. You have until next Monday, December 19th to color and add a thoughtful message to the person receiving it. Turn in to your child’s teacher when finished. Popcorn Friday

We are placing an order for all Howe Montessori students in grades 3, 4, and 5.  If your child came to me and showed me his/her recorder I have marked it down that he/she has one and we will not place an order for them  You can still order a mute (see the link for the order form). Otherwise all students will have a recorder order placed for them.  Here is a link to my blog with the Recorder Letter Order Form.  Students may also make a purchase of a MUTE which will help the student play the instrument more quietly when practicing at home.  Students will need recorders to perform in our Spring Concert as well as to meet musical requirements during the 3rd and 4th Quarter Grades.  Please be sure to send your money in by Friday, Dec. 2, so we can place the order on Friday, Dec. 2.  The sooner we can place the order the better chance we will have of receiving them before we break for the Holiday Vacation at the end of December.

Picture retakes are scheduled for December 14th. If a student requires a re-take they MUST return the original picture package to the photographer.

Due to a water main break on the Dearborn Heights Campus, there will be NO SCHOOL today at Howe School. We currently do not have water service to accommodate bathrooms and to provide food. We appreciate your understanding
