We are having a Christmas Sing-A-Long the day before our Christmas break.  Below is a link to the PowerPoint with ALL of our songs we will be singing.  Students are encouraged to practice at home.

All 3rd and 5th graders at Oakman will be performing their Winter Concert music on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the gym.  Students are encouraged to dress up and look their best as we will be performing for the whole school and taking pictures.

Oakman parents, family and friends are invited to our Winter Concert on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the gym.  3rd and 5th grade students will be performing songs we have learned in music class, dancing and playing instruments.  Come out and support our wonderful 3rd and 5th grade musicians!

Students are encouraged to dress nicely and, most importantly, have fun!  See you next week!

Oakman 3rd and 5th graders are performing a Winter Concert in the Oakman gymnasium Thursday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m.

Please join us in celebration of the season! Each grade will be performing several pieces of music, singing, playing instruments and dancing.  Join us as we kick off the holiday season!

Hello Oakman families!

Please check out the tabs to the right to see what your child(ren) are doing in music class.  We learn about steady beat, rhythms, play instruments ranging from drums to recorders and learn how to use our singing voice appropriately.  Have your child sing for you or show you what we have been doing in music class!

Music Club rehearsals started today, November 13 7:45-8:30.  Students are learning winter songs to go caroling around the school the last week before our holiday break.  We are also learning how to bucket drum.  We had a wonderful first rehearsal!

Music Club students should be dropped off no earlier than 7:40!  Ms. Rose, Mrs. Faryniarz or Ms. Stewart will be at the doors to let you in.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Oakman Music Club will begin Tuesday, November 13! All 3rd, 4th and 5th graders are welcome to join.  Rehearsals will be 7:45-8:30 every Tuesday morning.  Please see your teacher or Mrs. Faryniarz for a permission slip.  They are due back Friday, November 9.

Music Club will be performing throughout the school year and will not only sing but also learn how to bucket drum, play xylophones and recorders and how to dance.  Please consider joining!
