Friday (October 9th), is a half day. There will be no afternoon learning labs or virtual learning!
We are excited to start to offer curbside library service to Howe students on Tuesdays from 1:00- 2:30 pm at Door #20 (1st set of doors in the large parking lot). Students who have no overdue books or fines are now able to place a book on hold using our online library catalog.
Here is a video of How to Place a Book on Hold at Howe Media Center: https://youtu.be/gf2UUfaHJkQ
Once a student places a book on hold, our library staff will email the teacher to let the student(s) know that they can come on the next Tuesday (Door #20) to pick up the book.
Ms. Laurie Kurth will be at the door to receive books and hand out books on hold each Tuesday at that time.
**Students will need confirmation from us before coming to school to get a book.
Just a reminder, Learning Labs start Monday! If your child is attending Learning Labs, I have already contacted you with their bussing pick up/drop off times.
If your child is not coming in for Learning Labs, live Zoom meetings will be done by other teachers (Mrs. Kathy Adams and/or Mrs. Lindsey Ray), if you have not received their Zoom links, please let me know!
Also, you have received work packets for the week of September 21st. These work packets are meant to be done while your child is not attending Learning Labs or live Zoom meetings (for example, if your child is participating in morning Learning Lab sessions the work packet is meant for the afternoon).
As always, please let me know if you have any questions and/or concerns! 🙂
