I am excited to be your history teacher this year.  You will quickly learn that American history is a passion of mine, and after taking this course, I hope it will be for you as well.  This year we will be tracking the rise of the United States as a nation and then as a global superpower starting in the 1400’s and ending in modern times.

Summer Work:

In taking this course, you need to understand that it is a college course taught on a college level. That means that you will be expected to work independently outside of class, as well as in class. This course covers a lot of material to fit into a normal school year. So, that we can finish before the AP Test in May 2025, you must stay ahead of the information.
