Week of 5-11-2020
Hello Families,
I hope this message finds you well! I want to wish all of our amazing mothers out there a very Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you enjoyed your day with your child(ren)! I saw my parents and siblings (social distancing of course) to spoil my mom as best as we can this year! It was nice to see my siblings and be “together” in this new way of normal.
The work for the week is posted in Google classroom already. If you have any questions, concerns, anything in general; please e-mail, contact through Google Classroom, or text.
I want to thank you all for all the lovely gifts, videos, and pictures from teacher appreciation week last week! I felt the love! I am so lucky to be your child’s teacher and part of the DuVall community! I miss them so much, so please give them a hug for me and thank them for being so special to me!
I want to take a minute though to thank you all for your support and hard work week after week with your children. It really does “take a village to raise a kid”. I am sad that I cannot be teaching your child now (as I know every teacher feels like this), but I am loving the end result of the beautiful pieces of work you’re sending in! So, at the end of teacher appreciation week I want you to know how much I appreciate you during this remote learning!
Love,
Miss Shapas
