To prepare for this week’s final exam today’s bellwork is several problems to review for the final exam. This bellwork took the entire period for the students to complete and for us to go over as a class.

Alg 2B Bellwork with answers 1-18-18
Bellwork reviewed the sum of the terms in a finite arithmetic series (Sec 11-4), some review problems for the final exam, and an SAT like math problem.

The class periods were shortened due to a late start. The bellwork took a while for the students to work on and for us to discuss. The remainder of the period we worked on a few more problems from Sec 11-4.

Bellwork gave students practice determing what type of sequence a formula represents; arithmetic, geometric, or neither. It also gave students practice finding the limit of a sequence, if it exists.
Students were given the Final Exam Review for Chapter 10.
The remainder of the period we practiced finding more limits of sequences then began discussing the sum of an Arithmetic Series (Sec 11-4).
