Presidential Election–Howe Style!
Ann Arbor Hands-On-Museum Field Trip!
Thursday November 17th is our field trip to the Ann Arbor Hands-On-Museum!
We will be leaving Howe between 9:00 and 9:30 with an anticipated arrival time of 10:00. We have 4 mothers joining us, Mrs. Fadak, Mrs. Irbash, Ms. Aljabali, and Ms. Elzeiky—please meet us at Howe at 9:00.
The museum does not have a cafeteria on site, please pack a sack lunch. Our scheduled lunch time is 11:30.
We will return to Howe at approximately 1:30.

Wayne County Regional Enhancement Education Millage Proposal
School districts in Wayne County have placed a proposal on the November 8th ballot to provide added funding for our schools. It is the “Regional Enhancement Millage Proposal.”
If approved by the entire county, the 2 mil proposal will generate approximately $6.2 million from Dearborn but the District will receive $7.8 million in additional funding for our schools. Money would go to local schools starting this year and the millage expires after six years. Read the rest of this entry

Duck for President!
We have been talking about the upcoming presidential election. Today we read the book, Duck for President by Doreen Cronin with Mrs. Martin’s class. In the book, duck runs for positions such as: farmer, governor, and president! We voted for whom we thought should run the farm, either Duck or Farmer Brown, Farmer Brown won!
