We made applesauce today with Mrs. Wilson’s class and Ms. Dawn, our speech teacher!  We got to smell and taste the ingredients; we cannot wait to try the finished product tomorrow!  

Throughout the school year, we will request various items for your child in order to meet their personal needs. These items include: diapers, changes of clothes, and feeding supplies. When these items are needed, we will send home a note in your child’s communication folder. Please be sure to check this folder daily.  

Items that would be greatly appreciated in order to keep a healthy happy classroom include: disinfectant wipes and tissues. Also, spoon-feeding snacks such as pudding or applesauce are nice to have for snacks and working on feeding goals.

All donations are greatly appreciated!

Tomorrow is the first day of school.  We have a 1/2 day! 

As you know, Mrs. Ann Wroblewski retired at the end of the school year.  

We are lucky to welcome Ms. Debbie Thompson to our classroom family.  Ms. Thompson worked in another SXI classroom at Howe, we are thrilled to have her! 

Today was our last day of Summer School.  We look forward to seeing everyone again September 5th! 

We had Speech, OT, and PT today!  We made Ocean Cups, they were tasty! 

We shook the bag and made vanilla ice-cream! 

We’ve been busy working hard and having fun!  

Don’t forget…There is no school next week! 

Abrar and Ayman from Snow are joining our class for summer school!  We have enjoyed getting to know them! 

Summer School starts TOMORROW!

Summer School is Monday-Thursday, 9:00-1:00.  Students will be transported by bus.
