Just a reminder…
Our class is scheduled to visit the Holiday Shop tomorrow, December 12th. Each item is priced at $2.00. If you would like your child to shop, please send in the appropriate amount of money and the names of people they will be shopping for. We will also wrap gifts before sending them home…all gifts will be sent home by Friday! 🙂
We love our cooking Thursdays! Today we made mini key lime pies with our friends in Mrs. Wilson’s class, Ms. Dawn, our speech teacher, and Ms. Britt, our OT. Yesterday, we started by making our little pie crusts with graham crackers, sugar, and butter. Today, we made our pie filling and whipped topping! We smelled, tasted, and helped by activating a switch to power the hand mixer. Everyone will be going home today with their own mini key lime pie! Enjoy!
Today we made juice with Ms. Dawn, our speech teacher, Ms. Britt, our OT, and our friends in Mrs. Wilson’s class! We put a lot of different fruits into a fancy juicer that Ms. Debbie Thompson brought in. Next, we pushed the fruit down and watched the juice come out! How fun …and tasty!!!

We had fun swimming at HYPE today with Mrs. Wilson’s class!

We are going swimming tomorrow at HYPE! Please do not forget to send in your child’s bathing suit (or t-shirt and shorts), towel, and a bagged lunch!

Here is the recipe we used to make ice cream in a bag. It might be a fun thing to try at home–it is easy and makes a tasty treat!
Tomorrow is a late start!
Today we had fun making ice cream with our friends in Mrs. Wilson’s class! We put all of the ingredients into a baggie with ice and did lots of shaking (for eight minutes) until we had soft vanilla ice cream! The ice cream was tasty and we had a lot of fun!
