It was a wonderful day to walk around Greenfield Village!

Monday (May 21^st) is our field trip to Greenfield Village! The bus will load and leave Howe around 9:00 am anticipating an arrival time of 9:30. We will return to school around 1:30pm.

If the weather does not cooperate, we will spend our time in the Henry Ford Museum.

Please remember to pack a lunch if your child eats by mouth. We will take care of any scheduled tube-feedings as necessary.

Our class will be taking a fieldtrip to Greenfield Village Monday, May 21^st! 

Greenfield Village is primarily outdoors; students will need to be dressed accordingly. If your child eats by mouth, a bagged lunch will need to be provided.

Over break Nurse Kim, Ibraheem, and Jordan will be celebrating birthdays.  We had an early celebration today!  Everyone enjoyed the blue frosting!! 🙂

We made pizza today with our friends in Mrs. Wilson’s class.  We got to see and smell all of the ingredients, spread the sauce and sprinkle the cheese onto the pizza.  Once the pizza was baked we got to taste the cooked sauce and cheese.   Yum! 🙂 

As some of you know, I am expecting my first child March 2^nd.  After this February break, I will be starting my maternity leave and be out for 8-12 weeks.

Ms. Laurie Cheaito, a very familiar face in our building will be filling in for me.  Ms. Laurie has been in multiple classrooms and is very familiar with the students and their routines.  I will check my e-mails periodically when I am out, however, if you need to contact Ms. Laurie directly with questions and/or concerns her email is: cheaitl@dearbornschools.org
