Today we talked about scuba divers.  We talked about how they get to see all of the wonder sea animals we’ve been discussing while under the water.  We also learned about whales and sang ‘Down by the Bay,’ we like the part about the whale with the polka dot tale! 😉

Field Day is TOMORROW at Edsel Ford High School.  If you plan on meeting us there, busses will arrive between 9:30 and 10:00. 

PLEASE dress your child appropriately for the weather, the morning looks like it will be a bit chilly (and possibly rainy). 

If your child will not be participating in the hot dog lunch, you will need to supply a lunch.

Today is our friend, Alfeyah’s 9th birthday!  Happy Birthday to you! 

To go along with our ‘Under the Sea’ theme, Ms. Dawn had a “Baby Shark” activity to do with us!  We told the ‘little fish’ to ‘GO!’ and ‘GO FASTER!’ to get away from the sharks in the water!  We also made a shark craft today using newspaper! 

We talked about the flag and our country throughout the month of May! 

We also talked about spring and created a beautiful garden in the hallway! 

For the month of June our theme is ‘Under the Sea’.  We’ve been learning about sea turtles and seahorses.  Today we talked about sharks!
